What is Monte Vista PTSA? |

The PTSA at Monte Vista is a group of parents, teachers and students advocating for all students. This guide summarizes the PTSA programs and includes the school phone numbers, a bell schedule, PTSA calendar, and phone directory. Keep this directory of information handy throughout the year.
PTSA GOALS Communication Headquarter: integrate school information through the Grapevine newsletter, meetings, forums, PTSA web page, and e-mail updates. Student Participation: encourage students to hold positions on our PTSA board and committees. Parent Volunteers on Campus: help develop and coordinate a program for parent volunteers on campus.MISSION STATEMENT - To support and speak on behalf of all children and youth in schools, in the community and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
- To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and
- To promote parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
